General question for creationists
Well, I'm pretty new to the evolution/creationism board, so I was just wondering what kind of arguments for creation there are.
Now obviously I am not looking for "God created the world", I'm looking for scientific evidence. Furthermore, I am not interested in attempts to disprove evolution. I'm not claiming that evolution is perfect here, I just want to hear the argument for creationism and not against evolution. |

Come on, creationists. Please, don't merely try and counter evolution: show how your hypothesis fits the facts better. To paraphrase an English expression: Come an' have a go if you think your science is hard enough. Gar: Welcome to E/C! Oolon |

*sigh* ... Do I really need to respond to this? I'm assuming that there are at least some rational creationists out there. Again, I'm looking for scientific evidence. Do I really need to post a definition of scientific? |

Hi Gar,
I'm sure you already have the talk.origons link. There you may view all of the creationist's arguments. It is excellent, recreational reading. But, here's a site that'll really give you a giggle: http://www.geocities.com/kenthovind/ The plain fact is that there is exactly zero, scientific evidence for a Creator and all of the frothing rants and even the reasoned arguments of the Creationists cannot change that. But they keep on trying, not, I think, to change science but to gain converts. H. sapiens is a strange creature. d |

Hey, I am new here. I noticed that many of you are very intelligent. Please go easy on me, as I am not.
First, if our universe is growing, it must have a beginning and an end. Is that too much of a jump? I think that if the universe can change, it cannot have always been. Because something that has always existed would not change. If you agree with me on that, then the universe had to come from a timeless, unchanging source. If the universe has a beginning, it cannot have created itself, am I right? Therefore, if you still agree with me up to here, regardless of whether evolution is the process which was used, at some point, the universe ahd to be created. I hope that seems logical, and helpful. |
