Nice. :notworthy

Anyway, to answer your question Boro Nut: Like all the other supplicants you will be judged sometime after the first 5 minutes but before the very end. No man knows the time of his judgement until it happens. The only thing you can know with certainty is that of the four of you only one will be chosen. If you are not the chosen one your time will come to an abrupt end but you will get a chance to tell the camera why you didn't like her anyway and the other guys are posers. If you survive the tribulation you are only guaranteed an onscreen smooch and maybe a clumsy grope, after that you are on your own. And even if you win you must face the possibility that she's only doing this to get on TV.

Magus said somewhere, perhaps a different thread, that he was basing that on the trouble in the Middle East, the Israel stuff. Apparently the AntiChrist is about ready to make false peace in Israel.

I was under the impression that the Bible says no man (or woman, presumably) will know when Christ is going to return to Earth. I take that statement to mean that any prediction as to a time is automatically false.
You are correct, I was stating 10 years because that is the a common belief in the Christian community based on the current events and prophecy. It could be tomorrow, it could be 50 years from now. 10 years is just a rough guess.

I would think not, considering it's not in the Bible at all.

Ask your preacher about that. And ask him what Christians 200 years ago thought about the Rapture. (Hint: they didn't, because it wasn't invented until the 19th century).

Then go to an accredited college or university with a religious studies department and ask one of the Bible professors about the Rapture, second coming, and Revelation. You may be surprised!
The first mention of the rapture and Jesus' ressurection of all believers is in Thessalonian's. The term rapture isn't used in the Bible, rapture comes from the latin term for to catch up.

1 Th 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 4:14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 4:15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 4:16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 4:17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 4:18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

The next mention is in Corinthians.

1 Cor 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 15:52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Jesus' second coming (rapture is at the beginning) is mentioned in Revelation here.

Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 19:12His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 19:13And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 19:14And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 19:15And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 19:16And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

To oriecat - Yes God creates the soul at the moment of conception.
