Why not nude?
Ok this is something I have always wondered. Maybe some of you can help me get things clear.
God wanted us to be naked and didn't wanted us to use any clothes or anything, Then after Satan made Adam and Eve eat the fruit they realized they were naked and hidded themselves from God. Now on to my question. Why Christians are so upset about nudity? Isn't that what God really wanted? Why do they stick to Satan's will and use clothes? Sure God gave them the clothes but it was all in Satan's plan. Why stick with it? It is kind of confusing because God even tells that it is not good to see people nude. But wanted everyone to be nude in the first place. Good Day Ether [ June 04, 2002: Message edited by: Ether ]</p> |

Here's two links for you:

That's what I've never understood.
If heaven is supposed to be sin-free, then why can't be be naked? Lust is a sin - lust is the reason Fundies don't like nudity, so if there is no sin (and therefore no lust) in heaven, why can't we be buck-ass naked? |

Don't forget that Jesus's burial clothes were left in the grave, so that he appeared naked to Mary (assuming he did not sin and steal some clothes)

Okay, so all the True Christians and all little kids under the age of, like, 12 or so are raptured. They vanish, presumably to meet Jesus in the air. But the thing is, they leave their clothes behind. So as I'm reading this I'm wondering, are they all up there in the air naked? Or has Jesus thoughtfully provided them with some sort of heavenly raiments? Or are their transfigured bodies devoid of sexual organs entirely? |
