For someone with artistic ability...
...I have the perfect analogy against a micro- and macro-evolution dichotomy.
Bob (jane, Jim, Dianne, or whoever) has a laid a foundation and now wants to build a house, but only has a little nit of money left. So he (she, it) builds a one-room wooden shack. As time moves on, Bob gets more money and decides to build an addition. Bob keeps building additions and sometimes the rooms change use. Maybe the old shack part gets a marble floor and becomes a foyer later. Maybe that foyer than becomes a coat closet in larger foyer built in front of it later. The whole scheme is that the building moves from just a foundation to a huge mansion over time, but always building on what was already there. Sometimes the rooms even change uses. None of the rooms are suited perfectly to their uses. Additions are dictated by the demands of owner (i.e., the environment). Some rooms may disappear due to disuse too. |
