Thanks for the interesting replies; I’m happy to on SecWeb too.

I did try to carefully word my little “what-if” scenario but I didn’t get it quite right. Just to clarify, in the role of God there is nothing you “must” do of course, I was only referring to what you should take into account whilst putting your idea together. Maybe the humans won’t be “assistants” in the afterlife either, but ideally they should develop. Oh, and the thing about being glorified refers to a good, kindly creator of the universe which would probably deserve to be glorified, not need/want to be.

Anyway, in my rough thought collecting process I’ve so far seen that the Christian God should…

· Not send anybody to Hell.
· Make sure that he clearly reveals his existence to all his creations, past, present and future.
· Always achieves his purposes via the moral code that he created.
· And possibly make a goddess with big breasts, go back to playing the Sims, and kill Catholic pedophiles.

I also noticed a couple of you wouldn’t want to start a loving relationship with the human race at all if you were God. That’s an interesting idea, but for the sake of the game – you have to follow that rule. I hope that’s okay.

InsideOutBoy,

For the record, the alleged god's alleged goodness or evilness has no bearing on my lack of belief. If you were to convince me right now that the god described in the bible is perfect and loving, it still wouldn't convince me of his existence. Likewise, if I was convinced that such an all-powerful god, not-so-benevolent god existed, you can be sure that I'd believe in him and follow his rules.

That out of the way... what would I do differently? For starters, here's something you would never hear the all-loving DarkBronzeGod say:
"If thou ist a man, thou shall not lie down with another man. A marriage shall be between only a man and a woman. Oh and by the way, I've made you a homosexual."
