Capitalising Man is not deifying him. I often capitalise the names of animals as well depending on the situation. If you notice the other three times I used 'man' in my post I didn't capitalise it.

I might ask a question such as

When was the Red Panda discovered? I would capital ise it. If I said 'said you see that red panda in the zoo?' I would not.

This is because, rightly or wrongly, I think when an term for individual is applied to all members of a species than a capital should be used. Otherwise I should use the word men. I am probably grammatically wrong for me to do this but I have admitted on the board I am poorly educated, I didn't finish highschool so my understanding of all the nuances of the English language is properly not good. I admit I didn't use a capital M in my first three posts but this is because I was trying to avoid people like you jumping to conclusions. And jump to conclusions you do, otherwise you wouldn't have assumed that I was a 'he'.

I Still don’t get it, I can’t play with human made toys unless I think humans are wonderful beings? I play with my dog, but I don’t think dogs rule the universe? I swim in the ocean but I don’t think the ocean is bloody god almighty either. And if I find a cockroach in my house, it gets stepped on, unless it pays me rent!
otherwise they don't bother me, I don't bother them (same way I feel about humans)
