Default Gandhi is going to hell

You know one problem I have always had with Christianity is that they see Mahatma Gandhi and Hitler as being in the same category. One is a Hindhu and the other a mass murderer. Gandhi followed the same ideals that any Christian would and in fact in my opinion seemed to be Christ's twin. But since he is not a born again Christian he is going to hell with all the "unsaved". Never really understood that standpoint.:boohoo:

who said christanity was rational? I'm also curious about Gandhi's friend, Gora who himself was atheist and was enspousing a version of positive atheism in India at the same time.

Well... not that I don't think christianity is annoying and irrational. But in all fairness... most christians, and even priests, do believe that non-christians can go to heaven... it's just more difficult.

True you can go to heaven if your not a christian but only if you accept Jesus!!! If you dont it is impossible according to the faith.

What is a non-Christian that accepts Jesus? Is this one of those "Jews for Jesus" I keep hearing about?

Good gravy. Do all words cease to have definite meanings when applied to Chrisitianity?

"Only God decides who goes to heaven and who does to hell" - Mahatma Gandhi.

Accept Jesus' words not him: "I and my father are one"

You are one with your father/God.

I believe taht this is what you need to realize, and thus teh other religons are true, as they say the sam ething, in other words of course.

Gandhi seems to have recognized in Christ a great teacher, but certainly not to have fully understood Christianity. Obviously he was prejudiced against Christianity by the UK and US examples, and ultimately it seems his nationalism got in the way of his perception of objective truth.

Also, he seems to have deliberately ignored some very unpleasant facts about Hinduism:

What is "perception of objective truth"? Isn't that just a deceptive way to say "subjective"? I know you're going to claim Christianity is objectively true, but I know something else: it isn't.

Wow. That site utterly screams "propaganda." I haven't the first clue how to tell what's true in there. In any case, Christianity has a similar albatross - it's called the Old Testament.

You can't know, because you weren't there.

You mean killing 50,000,000 girl babies - and that of your own nation and race, is somewhere contained in the NT?
