I would like people to make note of the religious organizations that helped to get this bill defeated.

Victories such as this are not possible without theist allies.

That's a very good point, Alonzo. Theists and non-theists alike tend to forget that religious tolerance and secular government was promoted by religious majorities, not the non-religious minority.

I notice that the Southern Baptists weren't on AU's list. Neither was LDS.

For my state is was split between Dems and Rep, except for one Rep.

Wow, two of the three local Refucklicans voted Nay. Good jobs, Pryce and Hobson. Patrick Tiberi, what were you thinking? I didn't realize you were in bed with Falwell, Watts, Jones, and the Shrubya on this....

I suppose I'd better look up who my new Rep will be when I move to Rochester.
