In an NPR profile on Law yesterday I heard that he is extremely conservative and aggressively ambitious. Boston Catholics had no love for him prior to these - um - revelations. Also, there has been speculation that Law was bucking for the papacy. If so, this scandal might put that agenda off track. The best-laid schemes o' mitred men gang aft a-glay.
