Hindus do not believe in a Redeemer.
Many xians are completely unable to understand this and keep on asking who the Hindu Saviour is.
If their brains had evolved naturally, then they should have been able to understand an idea another group of humans have come up with.
They do not.
Ergo, their brains must have been designed to be so stupid.
Therefore there must be a Designer to design them --- only not Intelligent Design

Christians where placed on earth by god to torment a-theists. God did this because he knew that when we died that was that and it was the only way he could punish us for the sin of being a-theists. God has a lot of time on his hands.

Something to do with fundie brains, it was.

It has long been a mystery to me as to why anyone might want an afterlife. After the first couple hundred years or so, it might get pretty dull whether you're shrieking hosannas to the deity or endlessly chasing virgins.

Me, I'll enjoy what I have; it's all I'm gonna get.

I think that they are projecting something familiar onto Hinduism -- and being perplexed at its absence. In fact, many other religions do not have some Great Redeemer in them, even though they may have revered prophets and heroes.

Likewise, creationists often seem to think that evolutionary biology works much like their beliefs, that it works by waving Charles Darwin's Origin of Species around and quoting it without regard for context.

Chasing virgins? I think you must be describing Hell, because I imagine that in Heaven you'd be endlessly catching virgins, which would have significantly more entertainment value.

Chasing and catching the virgins suggest that they're trying to get away from you. That really would be a bitch for all the suicide bombers and the like - they go to Heaven and get all their virgins, but none of the women want anything to do with him.

Wouldn't that be a nice dose of poetic justice?
