Morality of Gift-Giving
I know that most people think that giving gifts is a very good thing, and so I try to do as much of it as possible. However, my father is concerned about my spending habits. He is worried that some people may take advantage of me, especially because I send gifts to a lot of people I hardly know through the Internet. However, I disagree, because I choose to send things to them without them asking me most of the time, and they also send stuff back to me as well, and I really appreciate their reciprocation.

I don't see anything wrong with it per se. There's nothing wrong with generosity, and I'm sure you've seen its rewards, even if not tangible. I think if you're not getting yourself in the poorhouse over it, then don't worry about it.

If you neglect to pay your bills because all of your money goes to gift giving...I would see that as a problem...but if you have the extra cash and enjoy doing it what could be the harm?
