I can't pass up a rare chance to post on a subject in which I have the expertise.
As a film school graduate and student teacher in a film writing program, I can confidently say... Your format is wrong. That's more of a play than a screenplay. Also, if I'm a herald your mother's a herald. |

Troll Hunter,
Please don't run off into the sunset this time. You were gone for a long time and I missed you. Kally |

Speaking as a lurker during the whole randman controversy...that was bloody brilliant!

[CUT TO: An open-air CABANA BAR, Hawaiian style, in the middle of the fossil-strewn grasslands of the E/C forum. The cast of THE RANDMAN INCIDENT mingles happily around the bar, having drinks, conversing civilly, and flirting with SANDRA BULLOCK, who’s currently in the barrel. PETER JACKSON stands nearby, waiting his turn.]
[Amongst the group is STEVE. He has abandoned his trademark khakis for a festive Hawaiian shirt. His drink is bright blue, and has an umbrella in it.] G’day, everyone! Welcome to the wrap party! We’re all here winding down after the excitement of the last few days. THE RANDMAN INCIDENT had us all in a right flurry of activity; costumes were prepared, parts were memorized, post counts skyrocketed, and a right verbose trollus quotitatus was soundly put in his place (whether he admits it or not). It was an absolutely ace group effort, and so it’s three cheers for everyone! [STEVE raises his glass at the assembled CROWD. A chorus of cheers rises, with various shouts of “huzzah!” “opa!” and “hip-hip-hooray!” Someone in the back shouts “Slante!” and is whapped over the head with a Bennigan’s menu.] Sadly, he left out of here so quick, I only had a little time to mock him. But them’s the breaks. Now it’s time to compare notes, clean up the trash, and let those long-winded but ultimately brown-eyed threads fall off the bottom of the page, where they belong. Of course, we all know that chasin’ a troll off the page gets him out of our hair, but doesn’t do much to show him the error of his ways. So it wasn’t too surprisin’ to see him posting this right familiar commentary the other day over in his natural habitat, the ZiggaZoomba Lounge: Quote:
Until next time, mates, I remain ... TROLL HUNTER!!!!! |
