http://drdino.com/?pg=helpdal
So write that email and tell them to keep up the good work! Maybe Hovind's "museum" can be shut down! good riddance! |

Jeez-o-pete! How many times can ol' Kent say "Lord" and "Jesus Christ" in one statement?
IF I were an English Comp instructor (and its obvious I'm not), I would have to give him a big "21" for wordiness. And how about this little ditty from Kent's diatribe? Quote:
Kent, it's simple. If you live in a county, and the public visits your facility, there are these little things called building codes that are to be adhered to in the interest of public safety. Have the inspectors come back in a "private capacity" my backside! Even "Gawd" won't get you a free pass on building inspection, Kent. Now greasing Rene, the building inspector's palm with a little cashish might. [ February 01, 2002: Message edited by: pseudobug ]
|

From Hovind's pathetic screed: "Our decision to build without permits from the county was based on our understanding of the Bible and, to a lesser degree, the constitutions of the United States and the state of Florida."
LOL! "A lesser degree" to be sure. Since when has this jackass ever understood, much less respected, constitutional law? Then he has the chutzpah to compare his "pricipled" stand to Moses in Egypt, Daniel and his companions and the early church martyrs! The man is delusional. Of course, we already knew that. |

I wonder if Kent Hovind has trusted God to protect his buildings from lightning instead of a contraption based on the godless, materialistic theories of Benjamin Franklin and his successors -- a lightning rod.

I couldn't be bothered reading this entire piece of ridiculous claptrap. Is Hovind claiming to have incurred $100,000 in legal fees fighting over a 50 dollar building citation?

In (mentally) forming a letter to Gov Jeb, I was going to remind him that America was not founded as a christian nation and cite the Treaty of Trafalger. OK, so I'm having a big time memory lapse here. One of the first treaties that this country signed was with a Muslim country and stated something like: America is not a christian nation. Obviously it's not called the Treaty of Trafalger, or at least I can find no links on the web for it. Help anyone. Thanks
