Angry Do they really not get it?

I watched Donahue the other day when the topic was church and state separation and I just cannot believe the Christians that complain about what they are not allowed to do are as thick as they appear to be. There was a female HS student that whined about not having access to the PA system before HS football games and believed this violated her freedom of speech rights.

I also find it amazing that they do not get how disgustingly rude their actions would be if allowed access to the PA system. Anybody that has the overwhelming need to pray has plenty of opportunity before, during, and after a game to pray with like minded people. However, they seem to have an overwhelming need to be seen and heard by people that do not wish to participate. I guess their God does not hear their prayers unless they are inflicted on outsiders.

Finally, although I would never do such a thing if I had had the opportunity, I imagine the hypocrites would object if they bought a ticket to a HS football game and had to listen to me offer a five minute speech about the evils of Christianity. Do they really not understand why they are not allowed to use the government to inflict their religion on others?

Question

Didn't Jebus say something about praying quietly behind closed doors rather than ostentatiously in public?

Matthew 6
4 so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
5 And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Pretty clear, I'd say.
