HelenSL's God
Hello HelenSL,
I know that you are a theist and a Christian. I hope you don't mind my curiousity about your theological beliefs. If you would be so kind, please: 1. Define your concept of God? 2. Do you love God? (This is an easy question for a Christian, merely needing an affirmation.) 3. Are you a Christian? 4. Have you accepted Christ as your personal savior, obeyed the gospel or become converted to Christ in any other way? Thanks, David Mathews David Mathews' Home Page |

Yeah really David This forum is supposed to be for discussing evidence and reasoning for or against the Existence of God(s). I think you're off-topic, therefore. I will tell you that it's not possible to join my church - which I am a member of - except by convincing them by long questionnaire and personal interview that one is a Christian. And I work in the 2s and 3s almost every week with the person who did my personal interview, who is an elder of the church and much respected. Does that carry any weight with you or not? love Helen [ July 16, 2002: Message edited by: HelenSL ]
|

Helen,
But don't you know if you don't believe exactly the way others want you aren't A TRUE Christian? I truly wish that more people were like you and even more that Christian people aspired to be half the woman you are. You give me hope. Keep up the good work and continue being YOU!! Brighid |

Hello Helen,
You say that you are an evangelical Christian. Hence, you have answered my question. As an evangelical Christian, you do believe in God? When I say "God" in the above question I am speaking about the monotheistic God which accepted and advocated by the Protestant religions. Sincerely, David Mathews |
