There are two directions, one can follow. The first one is to act, which enlarges the disorder of nature. The other one is to acknowledge that, what is, which can enlarge the knowledge about the order of nature.

As well as the truth behind the myths of the Hebrew bible, as the truth behind Kabirs poems can be recognized and transformed into knowledge about nature.

Without any knowledge about the truth about the order of nature behind that myths each intellectual strawmen acting on fragments of English words in English bibles to blame believers only can enlarge the disorder of nature. The result in end is a religious war, death and still open questions to an order of nature.

God is a word, and it is of no use to discuss abstract words. There is only the reality of our acting and our knowledge about the order of nature. This is the base, on that we can discuss without fighting against phantoms, leaving back death believers in god.

Okay, know I see what you're getting at. Its interesting, but a completely different discussion. Plus, a christian would immediately disregard it, and a stalemate would ensue. Anyway you should start another thread.

Just curious here, which versions are you talking about? I just now looked at the Vulgate(Latin), and it has nondum, which means not yet. Also in verse six there is another not yet.
Nondum is still an addition when it was translated into Latin. Because wasn't John originally written in Arabic?

Back to the topic of a possibly lying God in whatever Christian Western Bible, it's really rather simple to find a single citation in the OT and a single citation in the NT to remove all doubt.

Whereas lying = deceptions, God decieved Abraham regarding the sacrificing of his son in the OT.

In the NT, Jesus is quoted saying what's now known as "The Lord's Prayer", begging that God "lead us not into temptation" as if this was a real worry.

Nuff Said.
