but I've heard this from a full grown preacher man as well. Right before he started in on the 2nd law of thermodynamics. But if you want a really good laugh from this one, picture this imagery: Your tires screeching on the asphault as you swerve to miss a 6" tall T-Rex crossing the road... |

Not to mention there's a very basic flaw in the hypothesis. Even given 1000 years, a reptile/lizard would not grow to the proportions of the largest dinosaurs. The Komodo dragon, the largest current lizard, lives in the wild to an estimated 50 years and reaches a weight of about 200 pounds. Multiply that by 20, and that's only 4000 pounds (2 tons). Note that such a large Komodo would have to be hand-fed as I seriously doubt it could move.

Here's another problem I'm having with those claims: evolution is in no way connected to the Big Bang.
Why do YECs and those of the same mindset always think that? They try to show incredulidity to the notion of the Big Bang (which, in my opinion, is a lot more reasonable than some archetypcal god-figure creating the universe) to deface evolution. Do they not understand that they are separate? Just because an evolutionist supports the BB Theory does not mean that evolution is directly supporting it. (edited for clarity.)
