A friend of mine lives in Utah, and her son is trying to become an Eagle Scout. But the Mormons rule the Scouts - and every other institution - there, and his mom's Blackfoot and his dad's Dineh. Dark skin, according to Mormon mythology, means he's cursed.

Does anyone have any advice?

Dark Skinned means he is cursed? I new that Ghandi guy was an evil son of a bitch.

What are they thinking, oh wait, they believe god taked to a guy in an orchard and revealed a new scripture, obviously they are not thinking.

I think it would be cool, if the kid just did everything he had to do, all the public service, and then some, and went above and beyond in all his efforts. Shame them with his qualities and character.

But since this is not about separation of church and state I am moving it to the other support forum.
