Post Christ Hoax

I was kicking this idea around for a while, but the creation book hoax (redundant phrase, if ever there was one) got me to push this idea:

Christ hoax.

Start with an adopted baby. Raise him to believe that he is the Messiah. Arrange for "miracles" of "healing" and "visions" later in his life when he begins preaching. Let man martyr himself. Keep this ALL documented.
Reveal hoax.

A little far-fetched, but less so than taking the gospels literally

Actually, I think that if jesus himself would have writen about his life it would look more like "Life of Brian" then the one in the new testament.
Except for the spaceships and stuff like that ofcourse...

I like the south park jesus. Maybe you have seen the episode where he was going to do the "water into wine trick" saying "could you please turn around?" and then he switched a can of water into another can filled with wine. I think the episode was called "Super best Friends" or something like that.
