I noticed you didn't reply to me, a fellow Christian, Jorge. Perhaps you are a troll... If not, then what I said should be becoming a little more clear to you now.

No. There are plenty of Christians here with fine reputations, who are respected greatly. What you describe as "boldness" is, in fact, arrogance -- come on, take a look at the OP! If an atheist addressed you in that tone wouldn't you be a little bit ticked? Bag the attitude and stick with the issues, and don't get snarky when people are offended by a deliberately offensive series of statements. What was it Bugs Bunny said? "He don't know me too well, do he?" You don't know me, RevDahlia. The only thing I don't approve of in discussions is foul language and offenses directed at God - but I'll even tolerate that for a while. I pay little attention to tone and concentrate on substance. I am bold for Jesus Christ, not 'arrogant' as you et al. seem obsessed in making me out to be. In any event, in the final analysis I am conscientious of the fact that I report to Him. If I am being arrogant then I will answer for it. This being the case, and being that I fear Him, I watch my mouth and my motives at (mostly) all times. I am a sinner, however, and I don't mind you or anyone else keeping me in check. In fact, I appreciate it! Better? Jorge |

Well, since he refuses to actually discuss anything substantive, I'll just interject an off topic post to this off topic thread.
I swear I've seen your writing before, but I can't place it. Not radorth, but really familiar. Maybe at TW? Come on, you can tell us. Who are your other sock-puppets? |

This is kinda funny. It's like:
Jorge: I am aware of over 30,000 biblical discrepancies! You slithering heathen infidel scumpigs have NOTHING ON ME! VM: Oh cool! Can I see the list? Jorge: I am aware of over 30,000 biblical discrepancies! You slithering heathen infidel scumpigs have NOTHING ON ME! VM: I know! I know! I heard! Can I see it? Please? Jorge: I am aware of over 30,000 biblical discrepancies! You slithering heathen infidel scumpigs have NOTHING ON ME! VM: Umm? Jorge: I am aware of over 30,000 biblical discrepancies! You slithering heathen infidel scumpigs have NOTHING ON ME! VM: Ohhhhh. I get it. Answer the real questions with ad hominem arguments and ignore or throw rhetoric at the challenges to your assertions. Why didn't you just say that you thought you'd hit on the perfect argument to refute nonbelievers and came here to repeat it ad nauseum regardless of it's inadequacy? Would've saved us a lot of time. |

WHOA!
OK. Calm down folks! I know we've got a live one here, but there's no need to go OTT. In fact, I think we ought to lay off Jorge a little, after all, he's the one who thinks these creatures: ...exist in reality. See Isaiah 11:08, 14:29, 59:05, and Jeremiah 8:17 for proof. I'm sure he'll provide extra-biblical evidence for their existence, otherwise the bible would have at least four errors in it wouldn't it? And I'm positive he'll be able to answer this one too: How come there are lists of musical instruments in the bible which include the cornette and the sackbut? They were not invented until the 11th century. Answers written on the back of a talking donkey will do just fine. Martin |

I go to the heart of the matter in the (alleged) Bible "contradictions and errors" and you say that I "refuse to actually discuss anything substantive". What would you consider "substantive"? My answering, one by one, the thousands of allegations of "errors"? So that you can do what, raise some petty objections or hit me with more allegations? Please... one does not have to keep counting to prove that there is no final number. I swear I've seen your writing before, but I can't place it. Not radorth, but really familiar. Maybe at TW? Come on, you can tell us. Who are your other sock-puppets? It's just me... I've used my own name over and over again. Nothing to hide here - how about you? Jorge |
