You too admit to wanting to kill a being that doesn't exist?

People, explore your default predispositions!!

My comment was pure sarcasm, that's what the was supposed to imply. Unfortunately, tone of voice doesn't always come out in print .

Hon, Christians do this all the time.

Discussing a religion's views doesn't mean you believe in them... Don't people understand that? Also, your default predisposition is not to believe in God. People just want a purpose.

He needs nothing outside of himself, because He is self-sufficient. Most atheists here seem to have the rational understanding of a hypothetical god as though he were a lego. God does not fit into your little box. How many times do I need to say this until it sinks in? Stop trying to compare God to yourself - IT DOESN'T WORK!
You for some reason think your understanding of God is better. You also say we can't understand God because we are both human. So what makes your understanding any better then any body elses?

Could God kill Himself?

Not only did He do that, He killed his Son and killed Himself simultaneously!

That's called murder-suicide.

I would like to see how the act was judged in the local police blotter.

Magus might be inhuman!

I can imagine it now;

Magus55: Take me to your leader so I can indoctrinate him to Xianity.

Human: Umm...our leader is a lady.

Magus55: Oh, OK then, no need.

We anthropomorphize god no more than the Old Testiment does. The OT god is a jealous vengeful god that needs our worship, demands it even.
