Jesus called his apostles the " Muslims"
Quote:
Perhaps it would be wise to take some advice from a Muslim? Did you know that Jesus himself called his Apostles/Disciples " MUSHLAM". The word " MUSHLAM" and " MUSLIM" are same. In fact the Aramaic of Jesus's time is believed to be closer in approximation to the classical Arabic used in the Holy Quran. This is a sample from a great link http://jews-for-allah.org/Prophet-Je...-for-Allah.htm note: some segments have been confirmed by Aramaic Bible Society. Jesus said the word "Muslim" in Luke 6:40, and told others to be a Muslim: Aramaic translated into Hebrew: "Ein talmeed na'leh 'al rabbo; shekken kal adam she'MUSHLAM yihyeh k'rabbo." Translation in English: "No student can be above his teacher, but everyone that is a MUSLIM, can be as his teacher." This link also has other proofs that Jesus Christ was a Muslim. |

Jesus Christ
according to bible passeges was a JEW(you know the religion and people the muslims hate aka palestineans and many arabs) .
His roots came from the kingdom of judah and was not a muslim. As for abraham and all the biblical patriarchs, they were not muslim either. They lived in the city of UR where there were many religions and they had many dictatorial kings and one was named king sargon the great who proclaimed himself as GOD. They were not arabs they were akkadians who spoke in a cuniform languauge called akkadian. Now for anyone to say these patriarchs were any specific relgion,no one really knows for sure. What we do know is that there were at that time many gods worshipped and does anyone really know for sure which god of the gods that were worshipped, was the true God and creator of man and the universe?I do not think so. |

Now what does it mean to be Jewish? Jews trace back to Judah or the 12 Tribes of Jacob (Israelites). Do you know the lost 10 Tribes are mostly the Muslims of today. The Israel of today only consists of 2 tribes. While the Pathans of Pakistan, the Afghanis and the Kashmiris are part of the 10 Lost Tribes. Thus Muslims have a stronger claim numerically to be called the "True Israelites"...can you say " chosen people"...probably not but anything is possible. The problem with most people nowadays is that when they think of Muslims words like terrorists, Palestine, belly-dancers or Osama comes to mind. But in reality Muslims are the true Jews , as ironic as it sounds. We are closer to your Christian Gnostics than you think possible..... Besides Jesus Christ has performed 4/5 Pillars of Islam. During his 2nd Coming he will perform Pilgrimage as well. |

The divinity of Jesus and that belief in Him is the only way to eternal life.
John 3 16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 14 6Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Matthew 3 16As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. 17And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased." Jesus as the Son of God. Matthew 1 18This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. Beware of false doctrines that discount the divinity of Jesus and that salvation through Him is the only way. Matthew 7 15"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Matthew 24 10At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, Acts 10 42He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one whom God appointed as judge of the living and the dead. 43All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name." 2 Peter 2 1But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them--bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. |

What God.
There are many gods. There is allah and there is elohim(which is the three gods of the trinity. The patriarchs were not muslims they were akkadians as the artifacts in iraq can prove.Your prophet was boren 570ce and abraham was born long before him in Ur. Muhammad was a white european that brought his religion to the middle eastern lands that is all. What does race have to do with anything? The US is hated from many muslim countries around the world and we are from white european ancestry the same white ancestry as your prophet muhammad. |

You see
I am an ex-christian and I do not believe in any God or god anymore.I am atheist.
I have found that in the judeo christian God in the bible created the earth flat and set on pillars with a molten hard sky dome.Which is not true.He the christian God is a liar. There any many many more untruths that the judeo christian god lies about in his so called word the bible. There is a difference between a god and the God.You see the judeo christian god is a god not the God. Abraham lived in a society with gods(apollo zeus kind of gods)there were many. Many writings came from those traditions such as enuma elish and epic of gilgamesh. The hebrew bible is just a rehash of these two sumarian myths taken to create another religion. The same applies to the Koran, your muhammad took the hebrew bible rewrote it into his version and called it the Koran. Simple as that. |

It is funny how people only see one angle to this, instead of
appreciating that many ancient cultures had their own flood legend, something we would expect from such a global event. There are indeed some parallels, but which came first, the chicken or the egg?The ark built by Utnapishtim was completely cubic (not very seaworthy) while Noah's ark was 300x50x30 cubits long, something more ideal (check your average oceanliner).' The Bible account is more of a sober history, while the Babyonian account has a pantheon of gods arguing with each other. The Babylonian is not as global as the Bible account, and flood waters seem to have subsided in a week. Utnapishtim took a pilot for the boat, and some craftsmen, not just his family in the ark. It is also interesting that both accounts trace the landing spot to the same general region of the Middle East; however, Mt. Ararat and Mt. Nisir are about 300 miles apart. The blessing that each hero received after the flood was also different. Utnapishtim was granted eternal life while Noah was to multiply and fill the earth and have dominion over the animals.I think it is safe to assume Moses' account is the original, Preserved by inspiration, and the gilgamesh account, while close in many details, is one of many carried away at the building of the tower of Babel when the languages were confused and the peoples dispersed.
