This is a perfect example what happens to someone when they're brainwashed into believing that a fictitional book is true. If you felt it was 'God's Will' to sit back and physically WATCH the entire torture and murder happen you'd happily do it, huh? Sorry, but you people make me sick. Justin |

thats a question for Jesus. Perhaps you should quit blaming Christians for the fucked up things that happened in your life and place the blame on the few people directly involved. |

Spurly doesn't appear to have the courage to really face my question head on and it looks like you need to accuse me of something so that you can keep your comfort level. I am not accusing all Christians of what happened to me, most abuse in my life was caused by Christians though. I am sorry that it bothers you but I am not going to go back into denial just for your comfort level. Perhaps you need to try to understand what it is that is really making you uncomfortable and angry about what happened to me, instead of being angry with me for speaking the truth. Why would I ask Jesus about this ? He never has answered a prayer before why should I believe that now he is going to answer my prayer now. If you are angry about my story why don't YOU ask Jesus why he didn't answer my prayers, perhaps YOU will get the answer as he ignored my pleas. Then please let me know what he says, especially why I wasn't good enough in his eyes to even get some comfort from what I was going through. I would really like to know Amy. Take your anger up with your god, not me. |

[moderator hat on]
Let's try not to take this too personally, okay?
Debbie T wasn't blaming Christians for what happened in her childhood. She's simply asking the Christians participating in this discussion why Jesus didn't answer her prayers when the Bible (God's Word) says that one need only ask to receive His blessings. I don't see evidence that she blamed anyone but God for not rescuing her from her situation. Cool your jets. |
