My abusers are Christians. You can find them at one of your friendly neighborhood churches and they will let you know they are Christians first and formost. Just because you don't want them to be Christians isn't going to change the fact that they are. Just like the priests that abused children are Catholics.

Not at all, but I agree with Spurly on this

I could care less what you do with your life, believe or not. who cares.
A truer christian response will never be found....:banghead:

They are not followers of Christ

You just said that you had caring people in your life help you, who's to say that was not an answered prayer. When was the last time you prayed?
30+ years too late. I needed help as a child. I needed help as a young adult, I prayed and prayed for help yet no answer. What has the last time I prayed have to do with me not getting prayers answered? The last time I prayed was just before I gave up praying because there was absolute silence on the other end.

Whats the point of giving up?
I hope he answers you, seriously. What would it take for you to feel Jesus has answered you?
As I said before do you even hear what I am saying? What it would take is an answer.

How is it humanly possible to answer your question on why it appears to you that Jesus has not answered you? I would very much like to give you an answer on why, but that can only be answered by Jesus.
Your bible says whatever you ask for you will receive. You will get an answer. Christians even say that no is an answer. So I am telling you there was absolute silence. That is NOT an answer. It can not be answered by Jesus because there is no answer from him in the first place. So since you say this and you seem to get answers then why don't you ask him and get back to me on the answer. You do believe he will answer you right?

No need to be so damn condescending.
So you would need Jesus to come down and answer you, thats not asking much

I will keep you posted since you feel you did not get the help you needed at the time.

I do not expect an answer any differently than an answer that you or any other Christian would get.

I would just like you to listen to what I am really saying. That may mean you will need to step out away from your comfort zone to be able to hear it what I am saying. Anyway it has been interesting watching you side step this.

Oh and I did not get any help at the time. I was still abused and god stayed silent the whole time, never sending me comfort or any kind of help.

Yeah a true follower of Christ would say something like..."I agreed with spurly that santa clause type prayers that are not sincere seem to not be answered... " to an abused child. An abused child assumed to be insincere I might add.
Could there ever have been a time in my life when I was a Christian? Makes me feel dirty to think that I was once associated with it.

You know nothing about me, you have no idea what my comfort level is. I think you are the one NOT listening to what I am saying or what spurly said.
