No, my point is that, whenever I talk to self-proclaimed 'subjectivists', they use 'subjective' in the same way that I use the term 'objective'. We disagree as to the terms, but when I explain to them what I mean by 'subjective', they tell me that I'm wrong, that my view of 'subjectivism' isn't subjectivism at all. They then proceed to explain what they mean by 'subjectivism', and it--almost without exception--corresponds to what I mean by 'objective'. I simply find this quite curious... Keith. |
