Default Ari Fleischman heads for the door

Story at CNN.com

I was ecstatic after reading this. I'm sure it's a hard job being the front-man when they don't tell even YOU the whole truth. But he wasn't very good at it and I, for one, was tired of seeing his ugly lying face. Come July, we can expect to see a different lying face.

Quote:
With Bush beginning his re-election campaign, Fleischer said this is the time to leave the White House "or sign on for the full four years."
Presumptuous, much?

I wonder whether, if you tell enough lies, your nose grows and your bones turn to jelly.

If so, Ari is going to have to walk on his nose.

Damnit. Now where will I got for honest, reliable, and thorough information about the current administration, the nation, and the world at large?

Although I'm not sad to see a professional liar quit, I will miss him. The play on words Bill Clinton used in his testimony about Monica can't hold a candle to Ari's dancing around the issues at the WH-PBs over the past few years. It must be difficult to program so much illogic in your brain without some kind of truth hemorrhaging sooner or later.

Some day I think those briefings will be famous and studied against every known historical fact and claim, much of which will be impossible to hide by then.

He was one of the best at what he did, hands down. Now he'll probably get a cushy job as a soft interviewer on Meet the Press or some other show like Stephanopolous is. Make some speeches and kick back.

I suspect his replacement will not have such a clever tongue though -really good sheep- sheerers as quick on their feet as Ari are rare.

Maybe Fox can hire both him and that Iraqi information minister and team them up. I'm sure both of their talents would not be wasted at Fox.

Anyone ever susepct that his leaving was not on his terms?

How was he chosen and where did he get so much expertise as a misinformation guru?

Wink

Is there nothing that man won't lie about?

All this time, he's been telling us his name is 'Fleischer.' What a load of BS!
