Prostitution
Not prostitution in the normal sense, but in a different case. Let me give an example. Not the stereotypical prostitute abused by a pimp, but any girl just wanting money and offering a blowjob for an amount of money.
I don't think it would be immoral to have sex for money in this case, because no one is being abused, and its consensual. Any opinions? |

I don't think it would be immoral, but I wouldn't want to be associated with someone who's values would permit such behavior.

A controversial position and one that I happen to share. The immoralities associated with prostitution are direct results of it's illegality. A sexually mature society would include prostitution as a healthy aspect and there would be no stigma attatched to it.

I think your answer to this question is directly dependent on your belief about whether or not sex is some sort of sacred life-creating ritual or something we animals do for fun.
I couldn't put myself on either end of that exchange for emotional reasons, and I can't imagine a well-adjusted woman wanting to put herself in that position, but I'd give them some privacy myself. If you don't think this sort of behavior ought to be illegal, vote Libertarian. All the same, I'd say try to have a real relationship with her... As the sigfile said, "Software is like sex, it's better when it's free." I'm not sure from personal experience, but that's where I'd put my bet. |

For reasons other than illegality, whats the actual moral implications behind such an activity. Why would you think its disgusting? Whats the difference between homosexual activity and that sort of prostitution, and why aren't homosexuals without values but people who take advantage of services not?
By the way, I believe sex is for fun because its an animal urge, anyone who says its special is dillusional, especially theists. |

Nothing immoral about prostitution. I don't get why anyone attaches a moral judgment to any kind of consensual adult sex.
