Stars and Stripes on Hovind -- Attn Military and Vets
There is an uncritical article on Kent Hovind in Stars and Stripes:
http://www.estripes.com/article.asp?...&article=16184 If anyone here is in the military or is a military vetern you might want to send a polite letter to the editor pointing out problems with the "article." [Fixed title. -GunnerJ] |

That article was something else. I found this particularly amusing:
“Evolution caused World War II,” he said. Followed by (a few lines later): "His qualifications to talk about the subject are questioned." You think? |

For what little credit it's worth: They don't call him Dr. Hovind....
I can't imagine any editor let that article pass without at least a smirk. |

The Rat posted this one on Skeptic Friends. When I got done laughing, then feeling a bit sad about the low estate to which Stars and Stripes has sunk, I put up this link:
http://www.geocities.com/kenthovind/ For those who haven't seen it, it's Dr? Dino in a nutshell. You can almost hear him producing methane (from the wrong end). doov |

Actually, though Hovind is nuts, evolution IS just a theory.
So is gravity. So is quantum mechanics. So is special and general relativity. But they are pretty good theories. |
