Not, nesasarily, but the bible says this: "Humans was made in the image of God, in God's image were they made".

Since we have a heart beat and breathes, we can assume under the assumption that the Bible is telling the truth, that God has a heart beat and breathes, when the universe, according to some theories, stops expanding and starts contracting, then one heart beat has passed for God, or one full breath, in and out, yin/yang.

So is there supposed to be a point to any of this?

The seed Is the earth, water, fire air, and a small seed inside(Mother Nature )

It is Self replicating and an endless scale up and down, left and right, here and there.

Thanks. I'll take that as a no.

Default License to procreate

I used to work in a treatment center for abused kids. These kids had been sexually and physically abused since practically day one.

Without hefty intervention, they would have children and go on to abuse them, too.

The psychological and social effects of this cycle were and are devastating.

Survey any prison population, and you will find 95% of the inmates were abused as children.

So I have long thought that people should have to get a license to have children. After all, you have to get a license to drive a car, or fly a plane, or be a plumber, or be an electrician--and you can do a lot more damage to a child than to a toilet.

I think people should at least be required to know (even if they don't always practice) what are acceptable childrearing practices. For example, it is never OK to burn your child with cigarettes; it is never OK to whip them with extension cords; it is really never OK to beat your children period; it is not OK to have sex with them, or allow your boyfriend or girlfreind to have sex with them, and so on.

Heretofore, in many societies in the West, it was thought that having and raising children was a private matter.

However, what could in fact be more social, and not private?

Every new child has an impact on society as a whole--particularly if the child is raised to be a psychopath.

Do you think the massive failure of social services, psychiatry, foster care system, public education, and family courts stems from the deconstruction of the nuclear family with divorce law, welfare law, economic equality, and traditional moral law under the mentorship of secular philosophies?

Oh dear. Here's another one for FSTDT. Just why is it the fault of secularists and their ideals? In the US, the religious people have a lot more power in government.

Default Christian arrogance

I agree winstonjen.

The Christian majority in this country seems to believe that this is a Christian nation, they believe they have a controlling interest in the electorate, and they believe that they are so righteous that their thousands of institutions are so good for society that they shouldn't pay taxes when people hand money over to pedophile priests and physically abusive ministers.
If this is a Christian country with such good people in their good churches and with the blessing of their good gods, then how can this minority of homosexuals, atheists and Jews control the country? How is it that these perverts, heretics and christ-killers are ruining the country? Aren't the Christians the majority? Why don't they get off their lazy asses and take over this country - make it the new christians only land ruled by the pope or Jerry Falwell as king?
Because the doubt is overwhelming and the dogma is based on ancient superstition.

And to address the thread, if god is the only one with the power to create and destroy, he must also go by the names: Jimi Hendrix (created music), Keith Haring (created art), Professor Ian Wilmut (created Dolly the cloned sheep), Jerry Twomey (creates hybrid roses), Robert Oppenheimer (H-bomb), Raytheon (cruise missle), etc.
