Where is the outrage? The US funded Afghan jihadis, so AID supplied textbooks for their schools that taught violent struggle against the infidel (that's us, the US taxpayers.) After producing a generation of violent thugs, that became an embarrassment, so AID funded new textbooks that had a few violent images removed, but were still in violation of the law against funding religious material. <img src="graemlins/banghead.gif" border="0" alt="[Bang Head]" /> |

In modern American society, the media decide what is outrageous. Evidence the current brouhaha (I can spell "brouhaha," but not "disseminate." Yeesh.) over "who-knew-what-and-when-they-knew-it" about September 11. Mostly a non-story, the media worried it like a dog's favorite chew-toy until the Government caught on and began creating sensation. Perhaps the problem is that the "right people" aren't aware of this. So... anyone have an "in" with the networks? |
