Angry anti-atheist businessman in Yakima, WA

Infidels in Yakima, WA will want to check out a car dealer who says he won't do business with atheists anymore. More specifically, Betterall Auto Sales will charge an extra $10,000 from anyone who doesn't believe in God. It's his reaction to the pledge ruling.

The Associated Press reported this story earlier today, apparently based on reporting by KIT radio. Keep your eyes open if it's posted on the web.

If I were anywhere near there, I'd organize a march.

Hmm, that would be giving him and his friends more incentive and fuel, besides In my view he has a right to do that if he wants, we simply won't buy anything from him. He may soon find that he's losing money.

The Basic captalist principle, if you make dumb business decisions you lose money.

You know, that's the real problem with secularists -- they're just too mature and intelligent to ever make a stink.

Meanwhile complete morons who answer every question with "Why do you hate America so much?" and refer to suicide bombers as "homocide bombers" (as if "homocide" wasn't implied by "bomber") run the show.

Just look at the name of the business. Better-All. In Yakima there is a lot used car dealers that cater to migrant workers. That is who this bozo probley does business with. He more than likely wants publicity. I would not give him that satisfaction.

I'd go in and spend all day with a salesman, hemming and hawing over what model I want, taking test drives, grilling him on safety ratings, then haggling over every tiny item on the sticker, then just when he's ready to "write up the paperwork," I'd say, "Oh my gosh! I just realized this is the dealership that charges extra to atheists. I guess I won't be buying here after all."

If he did the same thing about black people his ass would have been sued for everything he has, but hey, atheists are the most hated minority in the US and most of us dont care enough about people like him.

I saw this on the news today. The reporter found it quite amusing. I wouldn't get worked up about it. The guy came across as being a little nutty. He's probably just trying to get his name in the paper. Besides, what's he gonna do? Make everyone fill out a questionaire regarding their religious beliefs?
