Discovery channel sinks to a new low
What the hell is with the Discovery Channel? They seem to be dumbing it down to the same level as the Learning CHannel. THe other night there was a program on about giants, and how evidence of their existance has been supressed. That is if you think the "Cardiff Giant" is supposed to be a life sized depiction of one. What the hell. Are they going to talking about touch therapy, the bermuda triangle or Nostradamus next week?

I haven't watched the Discovery channel in several years. Thank you for reminding me why.

I find them incredibly hit or miss. For every disappointment, I catch a gem...their recent show on Alien ABduction/Sleep Paralysis was outstanding

darn, I missed that one, I like tabloid TV.
But lady Shea is right, they do have some good ones to, the one last week on building the Pyramids was good, as is the series on prehistoric beasts. |

Yeah... I myself like some stuff on discovery, and some on National Geographic.

Darn, I can't watch any of them. I live in the country, I get 5 channels, sometimes 6 depending on conditions. I don't miss cable much. However, my VHS and DVD collections are growing now, I have noticed.
