Excuse me, but...
what is your God?
Animal, vegetable, mineral or abstract? |

Yes, it figures. Mineral = earth(atoms), animal = living beings, including humans, vegetable = all the growth in nature, abstract = all thoughts and ideas. If my God is all these, my God is omnipresent, where does some of this not present itself in Reality? DD - Love Spliff |

Apparently Darth Dane's God is as large as the universe.
Perhaps it IS the universe? |

Perhaps it IS the universe? If there is a God, I can only conclude it is as large as the universe(infinite) and permeates it and is it and in it and outside of it(paradoxcial phrase I know) God is more than just the sum of the parts. DD - Love Spliff |

I guess "abstract", seeing as Rock and Roll is about as close to the divine as I can envision.

Darth Dane’s God, I suspect, is even more peculiar to him than most gods are to most other people. Being as large as the Universe, however, cannot be a unique feature of it because any omnipresent divinity must have that very-remarkable characteristic.
If God is everywhere, simultaneously, he permeates all the galaxies in the Universe and all the vast space between them - presumably is in the black holes, too - and is, indeed, expanding at the same rate as the Universe. Now, there’s a thought. |

:notworthy Yeah maybe my concept of God is peculiar. Being as large as the Universe, however, cannot be a unique feature of it because any omnipresent divinity must have that very-remarkable characteristic. Yes, think what else is out there that distinguishes God from something else? If God indeed is the universe, then that is what sets God apart from everything else that doesn't exist, or is in teh universe. But God being God and creator and created of everything, doesn't leave room for something that isn't God. Everything that Is contains the Idea or concept of God. A car is made up of lot's of parts, but if no-one, i.e some form of conciousness operates it, it becomes more than teh parts. The parts are inanimate, but conciousness can move it, thus conciousness is the driving force, yet not part of the car. If God is everywhere, simultaneously, he permeates all the galaxies in the Universe and all the vast space between them - presumably is in the black holes, too - and is, indeed, expanding at the same rate as the Universe. Now, there’s a thought. Yes, God is the black holes as well, as well as being inside of teh blackhole. Yes, maybe God is expanding? DD - Love Spliff |
