Ax;
"You're saying its an ancient allegory for
something?"

Offa;

Originally GOD (god is a high priest very
human) had it set up so that his oldest son
would succeed him (sacerdotal) in playing GOD.
There was a successful coup and a priest who was
not sacerdotal inherited the position of high
priest. This person was Shem and he was Noah's
oldest son, however, Shem had two older brothers
named Ham and Japheth and it was Ham who was
supposed to become GOD. Noah slew his brother
(Cain slew Abel) and "took" his wife. Please
note that the Patriarch's "took" wives. When
Noah took his wife she already had two sons by
the sacerdotal son of GOD (who was slain and
buried in the sand). Noah's wife was the "Mother
of All" and the "Mother of Many" and the chaos
created resulted into more than one high priests
at the same time qualifying through the same
bloodline with this bloodline destined to rule the
world. Today we have the "Arabs" and the "Jews" who
claim to be descendants of Abraham.
The Flood Story is an allegory and in
this story Noah used Water (Animals) to overthrow
Man with his bloodline mingled with her (Eve)
bloodline to control the world (a small area
visible from just one mountain and a far cry from
the planet earth). The bloodline created generates
the "Holy Grail" myth in which the son of GOD must
have his mother's "blood of Eve" flowing in his
veins. The "Holy Grail" can not be inherited from
your father and if a woman carrying the "Holy
Grail" has intercourse with a person not carrying
the "Holy Grail" she is to be executed as an
adulterer.

Really.

Oh, Amos! Amos, this guy want to talk to you, I think.

And I am certain that all of us want to hear the conversation.

That would be one incoherent conversation, Jobar!

Offa;
Amos and I think for ourselves. You fundies will gang up together because you lack knowledge. When you get into trouble you refer to biblical scholars who refer to each other sharing in their common lack of knowledge. There must be a law against one thinking for oneself.

Notice Jobar that I am not a student and do not get tangled up in theological debates. Offa writes the sacerdotal interpretation which is interesting but foreign to me. I am just not a theologian.

In respect to theists I am reluctant to post here because their faith is a good thing and if it serves them well who am I to say that they are wrong?
