(mods feel free to move, wasn't sure where to put)
www.campusfreethought.org I was just wondering if anyone was familiar w/ the Campus Freethough Alliance? What are your feelings towards the organization? Has anyone been involved in a CFA group or had one on their campus? I would really appreciate any info anyway can offer! Thanks, Megusic |

I have met some members of the CFA and have a lot of respect for them. You could get in touch with them for help in setting up a group.

Strawberry,
My campus doesn't have an organization like this to my knowledge either, and I'm surrounded by the many Christian groups. The website has information about starting such a group and offers materials to help get started. I am considering trying to start something on my campus, which is why I was wondering here if anyone had any person experience. I'm kinda scared of some of the fundies on campus, and I only personally know one other atheist at my school so I'm kinda nervous about starting something like this.... again, anyone w/ any info, i'd really appreciate it! |

Don't go the atheist route. Concentrate on freethinking, Humanism, and freedom from fundamentalist hatered. You'll get more flies that way, and draw out some of the more conservative or cautious atheists.

There is a CFA group at my university, but I am not interested in being part of it.

Haha.. down here the CFA is the Country Fire Authority, and I have no intention of joining that.
