I was raised and had all my schooling in Louisiana. I remember in my Biology class in high school (in 95 or so) we had these little stickers in our books about creationism and evolution. I don't remember what they said though. Something about evolution being a theory and not proven, I think.
We also had a day where all the students could basically 'bash' evolution. Basically, the teacher taught, then the students got to tell her they thought all she had taught us was shit. |
