Louisiana looks like it might be requiring anti-evolution disclaimers. Any Louisiana citizens should make their voices heard NOW!

I'm not surprised. This is the same state that had an "equal time for creationism" law in the 1980's.

I think we should make a deal with the creationists. We'll let them put disclaimers on the biology textbooks if they will allow similar disclaimers to be put on Bibles. Such as:

Warning! The accounts depicted in this book on the origin of life are completely unsubstantied and/or refuted by scientific evidence and common sense. Over 99% of scientists do not agree with the creation account depicted in this book. The creation of life as described herein was developed by semi-literate Bronze Age goat herders of unknown credibility. Proceed at your own risk.
