Default The London Hammer

I'm not sure if this belongs here or in the evolution forum, but it is a science question so I'll stick it here.

Yesterday, I was discussing evolution, life, etc with a friend and among other things, he brought up The London Hammer as proof of...well, I'm not sure. I was being sent on a wild red herring chase most of the conversation, but, I believe he was attempting to prove that we did not evolve and the Earth was not billions of years old.

I found a refutation to this supposed pre-flood artifact. Is there anything any of you can add to nail this artifact as an artifiction?

I'm going to email him the clone refutations and this one also.

Thanks in advance guys and gals. The combined knowledge here is priceless.

The refutation article pretty much covers everything. My only addition would be that they just found this one hammer. What other out-of-place artifacts were found in the same area? Think about an archeological dig. I think it's odd to find one tool, with no hint or supporting evidence of a local ancient community.

I agree with TenSpace. What more do you need? The 14C age alone rules it out as a preflood artifact, plus the fact that it was not found in situ
