Please tell us why. I see nothing there but facts, although the facts are phrased a little indelicately.

Assuming we're talking about the god that created "everything".
Well, that seems to be the generally accepted term when one asks if you believe in God.

Quote:
Any god that needs me to worship him is insecure.
You don't have to necessarily worship him. He may actually dislike it when people worship.

Quote:
Any god that needs my money, is a fraud.
Why would a god need our money? If he wanted it bad enough he could create his own.

Quote:
Any god that expects perfection, should design perfection.
Agreed.

Quote:
Any god that needs to intervene, needs to go back to design school.
What if there were a god that set the universe up to run on its own, and didn't intervene?

Quote:
Any god that is understanding, should understand why I question his existence.
Sure.

Quote:
Any god that uses fear or hate, should not expect my love.
Agreed.

Quote:
Any god that must make his presence known to man, should check his ego at the door.
Agreed.

Quote:
Therefore, I cannot agree with mosts gods created by man.
....ok, so you're not a Christian, Muslim, or Jew.

Do you believe in another intelligent creator, one that humans haven't made up, or not?

Quote:
I however accept that the universe is, and I can live a fulfilling life with or without a god.
Right. I can live a fulfilling life with or without god too.

However, that's not the question. Do you believe that there is a god (not necessarily the judeo-xian-islam god) out there, or do you not believe?

I think there may be a creator. It would appreciate the fact we try to understand or question existence, and the universe. I know there is so much out there, but we live in a world full of limits, so it's really hard to get out there and figure things out. Money, resources, man power, and time. I do not like limits, especially placed upon a possible creator.
The universe is so vast, yet religion claims to be just as big(indirectly).

From a religious view:
Everything takes place here on earth, nothing happens out there.

I question religious people who say they would not like to live longer than 100(or 300) years. They reply "we'll become too overpopulated". I reply "why do we have a universe?". Tada It's like growing one plant on 4000 acres of farm and saying.. everything takes place right there!
They can believe in eternal life, but not accept eternal life as a human. They so badly want to cling to a sky daddy who will take care of them when they die. Death is just another limit.

Then they say "I don't think it's right to live that long, if I learn too much I might wish to die". There's that fear. Why prolong life? why do we heal each other? why do we have hospitals?
Why focus on prolonging life if it really means nothing compared to an eternity in "heaven"?

I for one would like to live for hundreds of years, at least I'll achieve an understanding like no other.

Why create life, if you're just going to send life to a heaven or hell, based on their perceptions of good, evil, morals, and life as dictated by genetics, upbringing, society, government, and religion? If we're supposed to be perfect, why not create drones?

If I die, and become zero, nil, or absolute, then I will still appreciate that I was given a chance to experience life, and given a chance to become a part of and experience existence as a human.

There is so much more I could go on and on about.
In time I will write more, perhaps when I have a better understanding of things.

Does anyone share any of my thoughts?

Hey Ryanfire,
Man, you can pose BIG questions. Your thoughts echo many that I have had over the years. Unfortunately, these are questions that have no answers (I expect someone will throw bible quotes at me here). Good stuff to get the synapses firing.
