How did you celebrate Easter?
I took the family to see "Ice Age". A story
about an event that happened MORE than 6000 years ago... <chuckle/> |

Full house in Church this morning and spend the afternoon with our sons and grandsons (babies). Just good family time with a turkey supper to follow.

Oh, but I am just a normal guy. This weekend I am going to see my other son who has three kids and lives in Edmonton. Next week we'll go see her folks in Chilliwack Brittish Columbia.

Today I celebrated the true meaning of Easter. Plastic eggs! My granddaughter called first thing and said, "Nana, the Ether Bunny comed and hided eggs in the house!" We've been having rain and tornados for days here, so no outdoor egg hunts. Then she got more plastic eggs, fluffy bunnies, etc. at both of her great-grandmothers' houses and we had two Easter dinners. Green cellophane Easter grass all over.

1) Took a nice brisk morning walk.
2) Had lunch out with my wife. 3) Engaged in much cerebral talk with my wife, concerning our life together, religion/ philosophy, music, technology, politics, and the future of humanity. 4) Kept a promise made to wife's fundy mother to read through Josh McDowell's Evidence that Demands a Verdict - only instead of just carelessly skimming it as some do, we made thoughtful notes in the margins where he makes false or misleading statements, and pointed out as many logical fallacies in his work as two hours would allow - and by the way, Happy Easter, Josh! 5) Played Boathouse Rummy with my wife. 6) Took another walk with my wife, still engaged in conversation. 7) Ate a very pleasant dinner with my wife. 8) Paid mock homage to the resurrected Mithras, whose day is today, and to Eastre, whose day also happens to be today, in a deliberate snub at the latecoming imposter, Jesus, whose incorrigible institution re-assigned to his dubious honor this glorious first Sunday after the first full moon of spring. 9) Did some laundry. -Wanderer [ March 31, 2002: Message edited by: wide-eyed wanderer ]</p> |

I spent the evening tying to surgically replace my eyeballs. They fell out of my skull after I read Amos posting in plain English.
