The creationist book I'd like to read when I get a chance is The Creation Hypothesis, edited by J.P. Moreland. Preferably from a library. |

Even more luck. This month, the book that JW's will be making a special effort to place with the public is none other than the Creation book. The book naturally has many silly arguments that a rudimentary evolution science background can answer (like they ask why are apes alive, but the "superior ape men" linking apes and humans all dead). However, even more insidious, they liberally misquote many sources (and use suspect sources...and misquote those!). So if you really want to have fun, if a JW comes by this month, accept their book and say you'll read it and have them agree to come back and "talk about it" (for best effects, pretend to be an evolutionist who's "open" or "questioning", they'll probably feel they can get you on the return visit). Then visit this site, which is an extremely comprehensive review of the errors in the book (written by a person who was then a JW). When the JW comes back, confront them with the info (say you researched it ). You'll probably scare them away for a while to come . |
