Lets get back to the topic. Here's yet another example of a priest convicted of child mosestation. Criminal Cardinal Bernard Law failed to prevent it yet again.
The case is explained by The Boston Globe. |

You said there was nothing "lovable" about the Catholic Church.
Well, it could be true that there is nothing lovable about the RC Church, yet there still could be some RCs that do good things, no? I posted pictures of some "loving" Roman Catholics, including Maximilian Kolbe, who gave his life for Jews during WWII, and that is a digression?? And what did Pope Pius XII do for the holocaust victims, pray tell? Hitler's Pope If you want, we could post some nice photos of Catholic Priests, Bishops, etc. posing with Nazis: |

There are some good things in the RC Church. These things are hard to see among all the shit. |

It wasn't just Pius. While Maximilian Kolbe was giving his life to save Jews from the Holocaust, thousands of other Catholics (and Protestants too) were herding Jews into gas chambers.

Cornwell's work has been deemed unscholarly at best; I'm surprised you find him an authority. Gemma Therese |

The article you posted only briefly mentions Cornwell's book. And I don't put any stock in an article from The New American. Sheesh. Besides, this isn't the only book detailing the controversy. Check out the bibliography at the bottom of the page B. Shack posted. [ December 18, 2002: Message edited by: Mageth ]
|
