Thumbs up Bible quote of the Day!

Mark G. has inspired me to quote scripture to you atheists, in order that you might live better lives! As a newlywed, I find this applicable to my daily life, and I hope you all can find a way to use it in your lives today!

Song of Solomon 7:10 (NIV)

I belong to my lover,
and his desire is for me.
<a href="http://bible.gospelcom.net/cgi-bin/bible?passage=SONG+7&language=english&version=NIV" target="_blank">Bible</a>

Have a nice day.

Here's the modern version of it

I belong to my lover,
who's desire is for me.

I like these, from Sikhism and Jainism, respectively:

"Let all mankind be thy sect."

"Consider the family of humankind one."

Thumbs down

I'm not big on the "belong" thing. I don't want someone "belonging" to me, nor wish to "belong" to someone else.

Maybe you will like this one better, Vibr8gKiwi:

O daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you-
if you find my lover,
what will you tell him?
Tell him I am faint with love.

Song of Solomon 5:8.

Although I don't mind belonging to Rufus, as a part of him and his life. He doesn't consider me property, and I don't consider him property, but we have chosen to belong to and with each other.

...Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth, for thy love is sweeter than wine....

Or you will like this one better:

Shim-shim-shimeree shim shimeree
I am faint with love,
when the moon shines on my clitoree.

(to be added when the honeymoon is over).
