IF Jesus is the Son of God
Then what happens to the other christians? why shall they call God the Father?
If Jesus is the only begotten Son of God then are the other Christians adopted sons? If I become a christian then would I be regarded by God as equal to christ in rank? If not, then why shall I stick around with Jehovah after such blatant favourtism? |

David, if we are all children of God and Christ is the son of god, he is also a child of god. If we are not equal to Christ in rank, God is playing favorites, but this is all part of the trinity, which you cant understand hindu(i.e. because your doublethinking skills arent as finely tuned as Daves).

I know that this concept is absurd for atheists and mystifying to Hindus. Without a doubt there are religious concepts in Hinduism which are mystifying to me. Best Regards, David Mathews [ July 30, 2002: Message edited by: David Mathews ]
|

Thought I would show a couple of verses where we are called (or shown to be) adopted:
Jn 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: {power: or, the right, or, privilege}13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.(KJV) Gal. 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, 5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.(KJV) |

Say DAVID! I'd like very much to get your response to my biologist argument, that if your Lord's Mother was a never-impregnated virgin human female (Do you assert that biblical dogma as a Fact?) --- then Jesus your Lord & Saviour has to have been a FEMALE? Please stick to the subject if you wish to comment on this qy.: I do not read any posts more than 100 lines long. Cordially., Abe

The Bible states that the conception of Jesus was solely from the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:35). Neither egg nor sperm was involved in God becoming man. Mary's egg wasn't impregnanted by some Holy Sperm.

So what developed into a zygote, a fetus, a baby, a boy, a man? Magic goo? At what stage of development was Jesus when God zapped Mary and implanted him? Did Jesus have no chromosomes? [ July 31, 2002: Message edited by: Mageth ]
|
