I saw a nature show the other day where they pointed out that African Bushmen thought the Wildebeast was the last beast created by the gods - and was pieced together from leftover parts.
Tell me, Douglas, why are the Bushmen's creation myths any less (or more) valid than the Christian myths? [ July 01, 2002: Message edited by: Mageth ]</p> |

HelenSL is a Christian who accepts evolution(AFAIK). I guees we'll have to let her say whether she uses the term "theistic evolutionist."

Bob, I drop by from time to time, but mostly you probably are here all by yourself. I've found this forum incredibly rude and a waste of time. Here is a link to a good place to debate, but still probably a waste of time perhaps.

There are a lot of islamic creationists, though, of course, their creation story is a bit different from the xian one.
I suppose that shouldn't matter to those who are into ID, though. What seems to be important is that someone/something created everything else. Who cares if it was a giant Easter Bunny? |
