As i pointed out - what does Deuteronomy have to do with Christianity? The New Testament is where Christianity comes from - the Old Testament is what the Jews follow - so how come you don't see any Jews killing in the name of the Torah? Maybe because there are evil people everwhere, even so called Christians and its ignorant to blame Christianity on their choices?

Try reading Luke 19 completely - its a PARABLE! Jesus specifically states so - its not literal - its to make a point - Jesus is not saying to literally kill the person in front of him.

A great deal. Read Matthew 5:17-19 -- "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

In other words, Jesus expects you to obey old testament laws to the letter.

One word: Israel.

How many Christians carry around a holy book that commands them to kill unbelievers? Answer: all of them. Is it any wonder then, that people do kill in the name of religion?

Actually he is. Pay very close attention to the text: while Jesus is reciting the parable, he always refers to the nobleman as he. But 19:27 says "But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me." Jesus is not speaking the part of the nobleman in the parable, but rather as himself. This is a command.
