Thumbs down Evolskeptic's worst kept secret

I strongly suggest that the poster "Evolskeptic" be ignored.
He is a regurgiposting Denton-quote monger and arrogant fundaMENTAList christian creationist.
He posts personal emails without permission, believes that personal opinions are empirical evidence, and makes ridiculously naive errors:

<a href="http://creationtalk.com/ubb/Forum2/HTML/000070.html" target="_blank">http://creationtalk.com/ubb/Forum2/HTML/000070.html</a>

but refuses to acknowledge them.

He is a waste of time and bandwidth.

Dishonest, incompetent, overconfident, arrogant, and deceptive.

Typical right-wing Old Testament imbecile.

Believe me, we could all spot that in his very first post. You didn't need to tell us.

I don't think it's fair to judge new members, or even worse, prejudice other people against a new member the minute they start posting here. I say we give Evolkeptic a chance (besides, it's been awfully quiet around here!).

He isn't really 'new' - he's a board bashing hack with a reputation. The CreationTalk.com board is not the only board he has used his 'charm' on.

Why feed the troll?

It is one thing to give a newbie a chance - which I am all for - it is quite another to give another "evilution disprover" another feather in their cap.

But he's not getting another feather in his cap, he's collecting another black eye here! He's never going to make general at this rate, especially since he has now stumbled into a whole nest of Yossarians.

Moderator's Note:

Evolskeptic is still new here. Although, his reputation might proceed him, I urge all to treat him with respect. We will not tollerate flaming. Please don't make his threads degenerate into madness before a conversation has even begun.

Denton's a theistic evolutionist, not a YEC. Doesn't Evolskeptic keep up with the times?

With all due respect to the great moderator, let me present some of Evolskeptic's remarks from his opening thread. I post them here rather than where he made them so as not to disrupt the flow of the other thread. I'll speak of him in the third person, although my hope is that he will respond.

Quote:
Wow, the evil is absolutely palpable here! Let’s see if a little light can be shed on all this darkness ...

NOTE: As creationists around here appear to be greatly outnumbered, and as I only type some 20-25 wpm, I may not be able to respond to everyone's posts individually, although I will try to reply to as many relevant issues as possible. Please be further advised that I do not respond to posts that A) are essentially flames B) have a disingenuous ring C) cause me to repeat myself unnecessarily or D) in some other way(s) waste my limited time.
He opens up with a flaming comment, then says that he will not respond to flames. If this isn't disingenuous, what is?

Well, I guess my remarks about the "evil being palpable around here" are easily understood now. Of course this is to be expected when you are dealing with people who have no objective source of morality, and no fear of a Final Reckoning for their actions (yet).

More flaming from the person who considers them a waste of his limited time. Further to accuse atheists (of which I am not one) of being devoid of morality is ludricous. Perhaps a study of meth- and applied ethics would be in order. Finally, he seems to imply that his presence will bring the light of his truth to the eyes of the evil evolutionists. I would like to have the names and emails of people that he has converted through such methods (or at least a record of the conversions...perhaps a link to another message board).

The feather in his cap is that people actually engage him. He sees strong refutations of his claims as 'victories', somehow.

He has a martyr complex, and showing him how wrong he is only makes him more strident.

Its a mistake ot take him seriously.

I did at first, but he quickly showed himself to be a complete wacko. I actually think the best thing to do with nuts like this is to hijack their threads. Stop responding to their comments directly and start talking like they're not even there. Make'em feel irrelevant.
