Post Could I get some help?

Hi all,
I'm in the middle of revising for a course on science and theology, and part of that course involves the evolution/creation debate. Now, I'm a non-scientist, I stopped learning about it at 16 for good reasons (I was crap at it). This means I know next to nothing about evolution/creationism and am having trouble with the really big books I've got on them.

So here's where I could do with some help. Could anybody here point me to relatively simple resources on the net about either evolution or creationism? Something meant for the non-scientist? I'd be grateful,

talkorigins is probably the web's most comprehensive site. It will also provide you with a number of links to creationist sites, a favor the creationist sites never have the courtesy or integrity to return.

In addition to this page try the following.

<a href="http://home.austarnet.com.au/stear/default.htm" target="_blank">No Answers in Genesis web page</a>

<a href="http://nsmserver2.fullerton.edu/departments/chemistry/evolution_creation/web/#24." target="_blank">An existing course web page</a>

<a href="http://www.talkorigins.org/" target="_blank">Talk Origins web page which has been mentioned</a>

<a href="http://www.religioustolerance.org/evolutio.htm" target="_blank"> some specific issues from an alternant religious point of view</a>

Check back when you have specific questions= flood geology, second law of thermodynamics, etc...

Good luck

Here's a great resource that's precisely "what the doctor ordered" if you're trying to prepare a balanced course in Evo/Cre. It's the <a href="http://nsmserver2.fullerton.edu/departments/chemistry/evolution_creation/web/" target="_blank">Cal State Links Page</a>. It's actually part of a UC Fullerton optional honors level Philosophy of Science course. Hope it helps.

Red face

Dr GH: Sorry for posting the same link. I didn't realize your "existing course" was the same as mine. Great minds think alike?...

Morpho,

We are both clearly discriminating intellects. As you said, "what the doctor ordered."
