Question Start up ... something about Islam ....

Dear fellows.. Just to start ... how about a glance to this religion called (Islam)?

Is what we hear about it true?

Please look at the following site and let me know if it has enough to answer your questions.

Thanks a lot for your valuable times you spend in checking this site.

What are we meant to be hearing about it?

I've found that in Muslim apologetics the discussions intended for other believers are of higher intellectual quality than the arguments presented to potential converts, which are more of the "because I/The Quran said so". This seems strange, as it is the opposite of the general trend I've seen in Christianity.

However, apologetics in any faith ends up as an exercise in circular logic. And Wahabism has as much in common with decent Muslims as Fred Phelps with decent Christians.

Liquid, thanks for your reply
It is happiness that we meant to look for.
Humanbeing can't be happy if he/she did not know why he/she is created; as the Creator is the one who has the power to make us happy or unhappy.

Never been there, thank you also for reply
Maybe you are right, when Muslims talk to a Muslim they talk to a person who is already beliefs of the Holy Quran, so if they tell him that The God "ALLAH" said, he must accept it.

One more thing: what do you know about Wahabism?

Regards

Thumbs down

The link leads to the usual absolute garbage we can expect from a religion persisting from a more savage era. A comical link titled "Science leads to Islam" caught my fancy as a good source of stupidity and it didn't let me down with a long winded "proof" of how the quran and the "Dirak" (sic) theory on electrons are compatible

Gotoz, I had my glance and I'm not impressed. Why don't you now give facts and the real world a chance and check out some of the links you'll find on this site.

No offense, but, I didn't have any questions about Islam.

I especially was put off by the last Muslim who came by here and wouldn't stop e-mailing insults to me...

But, not to completely blame it on him. I doubt I would have had questions anyway. Like I told him, as far as I'm concerned, anything I don't like about Christianity is worse in Islam so...there's no way I'd ever convert to Islam.

love

Proselytizing for a religion is bad enough - but proselytizing for a poorly done website? Blasphemy.

RRP.
