Well, He was crucified under Pontius Pilate and Nero Ceasar, so since we know when they ruled, and know Jesus' age - we can figure out when He lived.

How do you know Jesus' age?

Pilate held office from 26-36 ad. If Jesus was crucified under Pilate then he died some time between 26-36.

Out of curiosity, what evidence would you provide that is supposed to demonstrate that Jesus was crucified under Pontius Pilate?

Mat 27:2 And when they had bound him, they led [him] away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor.

That would be one way. 33 is the most excepted age of when Jesus died. I'm sure many studies have been done to determine His age. Could it be off a few years? I guess, but what difference does His age make? He was crucified under Pontius Pilate who ruled from 26-36 ad, so by that and the Bible - we can estimate his age. Pontius Pilate was also still governor for a awhile after Jesus had died, so He most likely was killed in the early stages of Pilate's reign. Say about 30-31 ad, which makes his birth approximately 3 or 4 b.c
